How do you choose the ideal cancellation policy for your venue?

The cancellation policy sets out the level of flexibility you offer your customers in the event of unforeseen circumstances. On We Are Scene, you can choose from three options tailored to different needs.

1️⃣ Flexible Policy 🌿

✅ Free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival (time shown in the confirmation email).
❌ After this deadline, the refund excludes We Are Scene's service fees.

💡 Ideal if you want to maximize your bookings:

  • Encourages clients to book with confidence.

  • Offers clients total flexibility.

⚠️ Keep in mind: you need to be ready to handle possible last-minute cancellations.

2️⃣ Moderate Policy ⚖️

✅ Cancellation up to 7 days before arrival = 50% refund (minus service fees).
❌ After this deadline, no refund is possible.

💡 A good balance between flexibility and protection:

  • Reduces the risk of late cancellations.

  • Guarantees partial income even in the event of cancellation.

3️⃣ Strict Policy 🔒

✅ Cancellation up to 29 days before arrival = 50% refund (minus service fees).
❌ After this deadline, no refund is possible.

💡 Ideal for protecting your business:

  • Secures income as soon as the booking is confirmed.

  • Suitable if you have fixed costs to cover (maintenance, staff, logistics).

⚠️ Note: too strict a policy may discourage some clients.
