You can always cancel a booking. However, the consequences vary depending on how far along the booking process is.
If you cancel before payment:
You have no obligation to the host or their space: you can cancel free of charge by clicking "Cancel my booking" at the bottom right of your booking screen.
If you cancel after payment, and therefore after the booking is confirmed:
You are subject to the space's cancellation policy, set by your Host and indicated on your quote, your invoice, and the space's listing.
Flexible Policy
Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the arrival date at midnight (our systems do not factor in the check-in time when counting, a day starting at midnight).
Beyond that, cancel and receive a full refund of the booking minus We Are Scene's service fees.
Moderate Policy
Cancel up to 8 days before the arrival date at midnight (our systems do not factor in the check-in time when counting, a day starting at midnight) and receive a 50% refund, minus We Are Scene's service fees.
Beyond that, the full booking amount as well as We Are Scene's service fees are due.
Strict Policy
Cancel up to 29 days before the arrival date at midnight (our systems do not factor in the check-in time when counting, a day starting at midnight) and receive a 50% refund, minus We Are Scene's service fees.
Beyond that, the full booking amount as well as We Are Scene's service fees are due.
Refund timeline
Please note that your refund will be processed within 15 days of the cancellation.
N.B.: If the cancellation has been discussed with your Host and they agree to let you cancel free of charge because your event's date has been postponed, it is up to your Host to cancel from their interface to help you avoid cancellation penalties.
