During a booking, the client may ask for extra hours. It's therefore recommended that you set the price for this in advance so it appears on your space's listing. This way, it will be automatically factored into future bookings when a client asks to extend their time slot.
Example:
You offer your space from 9am to 6pm for ā¬700. A client makes a booking request with you for a time slot from 9am to 8pm. You've set an extra-hour price of ā¬100. The price shown on the client's quote will therefore be ā¬900.
To set your extra-hour price, go to your listing editing interface:
ā Click the "Host" button at the top right of your screen
ā Select "My Listings"
ā Click "Edit"
ā Select the "Availability" tab
ā You can then select the button "I'm flexible and can offer extra hours beyond these time slots."
ā You'll then need to set a price per hour.
The price for an extra hour is slightly higher, since these are additional hours outside the standard time slots. You're free to choose whatever price you'd like to display.
N.B.: you can set a price of ā¬0 if you don't want to charge for these extra hours. You can also set a price and make a one-off discount on a given booking by adjusting the price for that specific booking only.
