Remember, the more information and documents you can provide, the faster you'll be reimbursed. Here's a list of items we recommend having on hand:
First, you'll be asked for photos or videos of the damaged or missing item, along with its brand and model
Receipts for damaged items, if you have them
Receipts for reimbursable costs you've incurred as a result of the loss or damage (for example, extra professional cleaning costs needed to restore your space)
A police report in the event of theft (within 48 hours)
Once logged in, follow these steps:
At the top right of the home screen, select the "Hosts" tab, then "Bookings"
Go to your "Confirmed" bookings and select the relevant booking
Click "Report damage," then choose "Request full or partial withdrawal of your Client's security deposit (up to ā¬500)"
Enter the description of the damage in the field provided, and the amount claimed
Add photos of the damage under "Upload your supporting documents"
Submit your declaration
